2024 Paint Livingston Event Schedule
October 3-5, 2024

Thursday, Oct 3

  

  • 6am-10am: Artist welcome & check-in. Pastries, coffee, juice, etc. provided. 

  • All day: Painting around town, a nearby farm, a state park, and Dale Hollow Lake.

  • 5:00pm-8:30pm: Artist, members and patrons-only opening cocktail reception & dinner. Meet & greet with OCAC patrons and members. Free for artists and one guest.

 

Friday, Oct 4

  • All day: Painting around town, a nearby farm, a state park, and Dale Hollow Lake.

  • 5:00pm: Ceremony honoring artist Margaret Covey Chisholm at the Post Office on the courthouse square.

  • 5:30pm-8:00pm: Friday night cocktail reception and dinner for artists and OCAC patrons, board members and special invited guests. Free for artists and one guest.  

 

Saturday, Oct 5: All events on this day are free and open to the public.

  • 8am-9am: Framed art turned in by artists at the Millard Oakley Public Library located on the courthouse square at 107 East Main Street, Livingston, TN 38570. Art hung by event staff.

  • 9am-12pm: Main competition art hung, judged, and photographed for OCAC archives and marketing purposes.

  • 9:30am-11:30am: Quick Draw Competition on or around the courthouse square. 

  • 10am-2pm: Chalk Art demonstration and free Future Painter's Zone chalk art for kids of all ages on or around the courthouse square.

  • 12pm-1:30pm: Lunch break for participating artists. 

  • 12pm-4pm: Public exhibition and art sale at the Millard Oakley Public Library located on the square at 107 East Main Street, Livingston, TN 38570.

  • 1:30pm: Main Competition & Quick Draw prizes to be announced at exhibition site.

  • 2pm-4pm: Closing artist reception at exhibition site.

  • 4pm: All sales completed, and settlements made, if not done already.
